STEP 1 God's Purpose: Peace and Life
God loves you and wants you to experice peace and life - abundant and eternal.

The Bible Says. . .
"...we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5:1

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"...I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." John10:10b

Since God planned for us to have peace and the abundant life right now, why are most people not having this experience?

STEP 2 Our Problem: Separation
God created us in His own image to have an abundant life. He did not make us as robots to automaticallly love and obey Him, but gave us a will and a freedom of choice.

We chose to disobey God and go our own willful way. We still make this choice today. This results in separation from God.

The Bible Says. . .
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23

 Sin separates us from God. Sin is not just murder, rape, or robbery. Sin is failing to do the things we should and doing those things which we should not. Sin is anything short of being perfect. Our sin is the barrier between us and a satisfying relationship with God.

Our Attempts
Through the ages, individuals have tried in many ways to bridge this gap...without success...

The Bible Says. . .
"There is a way that seems right to man, but in the end it leads to death." Proverbs 14:12

"But your iniquities have separated you from God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear." Isaiah 59:2

"It does not, therefore, depend on man's desires or effort, but on Gods mercy." Romans 9:16

 Religion is man's attempt to reach up and become acceptable to God through his own goodness. The problem with Religion's answer is that the Bible says if we are ever to become acceptable to God, we must be absolutely PERFECT! (Matt5:48)

STEP 3 God's Remedy: The Cross
Jesus Christ is the only answer to this problem. He died on the Cross and rose from the grave, paying the penalty for our sin and bridging the gap between God and man.

The Bible Says. . .
'...God is on one side and all the people on the other side, and Christ Jesus, Himself man, is between them to bring them together... " 1Timothy 2:5

"For Christ also has suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God..." 1Peter 3:18a

"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

 The resurrection of Jesus Christ is an undeniable fact of history.

STEP 4 Our Response: Receive Christ
We must trust Jesus Christ and receive Him by personal invitation.

The Bible Says. . .
'Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." Revelation 3:20

"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name." John 1:12

"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12 "...if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" Romans 10:9

To truly receive is to trust in and depend on Jesus Christ alone to be the Lord of our lives here and now and our Savior for all eternity.

Is ther any good reason why you cannot receive Jesus Christ right here and now???

How to receive Christ:

  1. Admit your need (I am a sinner).
  2. Be willing to turn from you sins (repent).
  3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave.
  4. Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Receive Him as Lord and Savior.)
What to Pray:
Heavenly Father;
I thank You that You have provided a way for
me to have a relationship with You;
I realize that I am a sinner;
I thank You that You are my perfect Father;
I ask You, Jesus, to be my Savior and Lord;
I repent and receive Your perfection in exchange for my sin.
In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

If you prayed this prayer, I would like to be ther first to congratulate you. Also I would love to hear from you, please and let me know. I will provide further information if you desire. Or if you just want someone to pray for your new life.

I would also like to show you something Jesus says about what you have just done.

"I tell you the truth, whoever hears my Word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life" John 5:24

"Therefore if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" 2Corinthians 5:17
